瀝青路面在長(zhǎng)期使用的過(guò)程，也是瀝青混凝土材料老化的過(guò)程。隨著各項(xiàng)組成材料路用性能逐漸下降，路面自然會(huì)出現(xiàn)顏色變化。

瀝青混凝土主要是由瀝青、石料、礦粉等材料，按照一定的配比在嚴(yán)格的控制條件下加工而成。瀝青的顏色決定了瀝青路面的顏色，但對(duì)普通瀝青路面使用中的顏色漸變差異不明顯。石料部分通常的比重在90%以上，所以對(duì)各地區(qū)普通瀝青路面在老化后出現(xiàn)的顏色差異，影響較大。
